I’m gonna have to keep this short; busy week! Elizabeth: The Golden Age opens in theaters everywhere today, and I was lucky enough to have my very own private screening yesterday. (Yes, having a theater all to yourself with unlimited popcorn is as awesome as you’d imagine it to be.) Cate Blanchett is magnificent. And lest you ever doubted for even the slightest moment that Clive Owen can smolder with the best of ‘em….wow. He brings disheveled to new heights of glory.
I’m off to the Southern Festival of Books. Tune in next week for a full report, or if you’re in Nashville, stop by and say hi.
In the meantime, check out an amazing theater marquee here, and if you’re wondering why I look so ratty in the picture, click here. It’s not all glamour, the writing life…..

Congratulations, Tasha! First I have to borrow the first Elizabeth movie, then I’ll see this one. Cate Blanchett was so intriguing is Lord of the Rings, and Clive Owen has been a favorite for while now (I think he should have been the next James Bond - way sexier than Daniel Craig!), so I’m looking forward to seeing E:TGA, and saying “Hey, I sort of know the writer who…”

Congrats, Tasha! The movie looks great and I saw your Elizabeth book at my local Borders. It was on the “New In Paperback” table right by the checkout, always a good thing.:)

Congrats. I have seen many authors succeed tremendously with their books(s). But it is always such a high when you’ve reached this particular feat. Have fun and enjoy!
