me?
That’s right, deadlines are met and now it’s time for some long overdue relaxation for me…and a riddle/challenge for you.
Below, you will find a few words with ONE thing in common. It’s your challenge to figure out what they have in common (hint: it’s one word). Then, go to my other blog and find the second set of clues there (also leading you to one word).
Next Tuesday (the 24th) I will pull a name from a hat containing the names of everyone who guessed my location correctly in the comment section. The winner will receive a $10 gift card to B & N and a signed cover flap for my next book, DEATH THREADS.
Remember…you need BOTH words to win.
Here’s the first set of clues:
New Orleans
Nicholas
Regis
Have fun!
Hugs,
~Laura

Laura says I can’t play. So I guess I’ll just mention my vacation coming up next week. Not Idaho but Hannibal, MO to play tourist for all the Mark Twain stuff. They had a writer’s workshop last weekend when I booked my room. I almost got in the car right then. But I figured my hubby wouldn’t buy that I had to reserve the room in person excuse.
Have fun Laura….

I love puzzles! I’m thinking Saint Thomas?

Fun! I’d better opt out of the contest, but I’m happy for you that you’re done!

If you’re back you’d better call me.

Either St. Thomas or suburban Trenton. I can’t tell which.

I’m going with St (Saint) Thomas. Hope you have a great time!
Maybe you’ll find a way to work the locale in your next project while you’re relaxing on the beach.

Lynn, have you ever been to Mark Twain’s home in Hartford, CT? It’s a lovely brick Victorian pile, three stories, with exquisite furniture. But the best room in the house is on the third floor, where Twain wrote. It has a massive and ornate desk, and a fantastic billiard table. I could so imagine him taking a break from scribbling to shoot a few racks.
